Hello there!

In this month's update, we're excited to share two grant opportunities for small businesses. Get on it! The application deadline for Verizon's Small Business. Big Dreams is fast approaching, ending on 5/12/23.

Additionally, we commemorate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage month by featuring Pittsburgh's first ever Taste of Asia Food Festival, showcasing a diverse range of Asian-focused cuisines.

Last but not least, we are thrilled to welcome Bret Kunash to the Office of Nighttime Economy. Bret's extensive background in live entertainment and concert management makes him a valuable addition to our team.

Get Your Business Noticed at Open Streets
The first of three OpenStreets launches May 28th with a route through North Shore, Downtown, Market Square and South Side. (Route Map)

If your business is on the route, take this opportunity to connect with new customers. Sign up for free to be a Route Host and you can extend your storefront onto the sidewalk or street during the event hours.

In return, OpenStreets simply asks that you stay open 10am-2pm and provide an activity to engage participants. Get creative. Many folks are curious about nightlife - invite them in for a backstage tour, offer dance lessons, a daytime disco, brunch discounts, mocktail samples, or partner up with a nail salon for Martinis and Manicures. Get out and get noticed!
Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month
