RAIN RETURNS, BACK TO NORMAL
After several incredibly long dry stretches throughout this past winter, Spring is shaping up to be more frequently rainy and wet. Spring has sprung and lawns are starting to grow steadily but the spring rain complicates mowing, which is very typical.

Mowing in the rain is a reality in Oregon as it can rain every day for weeks on end and we can't wait too long to mow. We have worked to adjust our schedule as allows to avoid damaging lawn areas by mowing when too wet. We sometimes change our equipment as well. All in all, we do our best to keep on schedule while at the same time avoid damage.

The best news is that the threat of an early irrigation season and budget breaking irrigation bills is subsiding. We are not out of the woods yet, but the summer drought fears of a month ago have also subsided. We will keep watch but are less concerned at this point.

Overall, it is back to normal in rainy Oregon.
