A Look Inside This Week's Whims
January 2023, 3rd Edition
Hello, community! First order of business this evening is a reminder that school has officially been cancelled tomorrow Monday, January 23rd. It's been a wild and wintry two weeks but the silver lining to recent weather events is our most cherished winter activities will be in full swing this week. Skating on the pond, tracking in animals in the woods, snow painting, and the ski program are just some of the things these winter days have to offer us. Can't wait to experience a beautifully snowy campus with the children later this week!
Please read our winter weather policy below that includes a helpful clarification regarding when we follow RSU 13's winter weather decisions. Additionally: while it can seem harmless to reach out to Riley staff regarding school delays or closures, it can be overwhelming to manage individually responding to each text, call, or email inquiring on delays and closures. At Riley we strive to keep the parent community informed, particularly in regards to closures and delays. Please refer to our winter weather policies (explained below) or the most recent group communication from Riley regarding a delay or closure if any questions arise. If a decision has been made to delay or close school, a group text will be sent out immediately. Thank you for understanding and helping us streamline our communication efforts!
