  97 Yesterday, Summer Is Here!

It has been a widely variable spring and early summer but consistent warm dry weather is finally here (or will be starting July 5th).

As you can see from the chart above, spring and early summer irrigation need is highly variable and different from year to year. This is always a challenge as it dries out quickly, then rain returns as we begin irrigation. We will likely see more consistency in July and August as we anticipate little to no rain these two months. This is good for barbequing and camping but one of our biggest challenges in landscaping.

Although we are on most sites weekly, irrigation need can still vary as can be seen by the difference in yesterday and today. Problems often show up while we are away and manifest into dry spots in a few short days. We work diligently to monitor your sites to reduce the impacts of these issues. As was outlined in a previous newsletter article, we have increased our irrigation troubleshooting resource with 3 college interns this summer. IRRIGATION AUDITS PERFORMED BY INTERNS We hope this helps minimize these problems as well as helping us evaluate sites for irrigation upgrades to improve efficiency and save you money in the long term.

So, enjoy your summer as it is finally here and let us know if you see anything that needs attention. We will hopefully find it before you see it but if we don't, let us know and we will get right out to resolve the issue.
