GROUPS BEING VACCINATED NOW (updated Feb. 17)

Mayers continues to schedule age 65 and older as we have vaccine allocations available. We are also accepting forms K-12 Educators. Please help us share the message to your friends and family in these groups.

Before this week's clinics, we have administered 895 first doses and 301 second doses. We are scheduling full clinics each week depending on availability of vaccine.

We will call you to schedule and appointment when we have vaccine availability. Please note that we are scheduling in the order the forms are received within the specific Tiers and Age groups.



Shasta County COVID Info - NUMBERS ARE IMPROVING

Shasta County remains in the purple (“widespread”) tier. Our adjusted case rate decreased from 23.0 to 14.8 daily cases per 100,000 residents. Our positivity rate is 3.9 (down from 5.5). This is all great news!

As of February 16 there have been 10,810 cases in Shasta County total. There are 14 hospitalized, with 2 in ICU. There have been 149,911 tests performed in Shasta County total. The ICU capacity in the Northern Region is 33.3%

If our positivity rate and equity metric both remain in the orange tier for two more weeks and our case rate continues to decline, we could move into the red tier two weeks from now, even if the case rate is not yet down to the red tier. Please continue to wear masks and physically distance!
