GROUPS BEING VACCINATED NOW (updated Feb. 10)

Mayers is scheduling age 65 and older as we have vaccine allocations available. We are also accepting forms K-12 Educators. Please help us share the message to your friends and family in these groups.

We will call you to schedule and appointment when we have vaccine availability. Please note that we are scheduling in the order the forms are received within the specific Tiers and Age groups.


Shasta, Lassen and Modoc are all in the Purple Tier.


Shasta County remains in the purple (“widespread”) tier. Our adjusted case rate decreased to 23.0 daily cases per 100,000 residents. Our positivity rate is 5.5

As of February 9 there have been 10,687 cases in Shasta County total. There are 20 hospitalized, with 4 in ICU. There have been 146,214 tests performed in Shasta County total. The ICU capacity in the Northern Region is 36%

Skilled Nursing Update
We would like to thank you again for the patience in dealing with all of the regulations that have been created around visitation of your loved ones. We look forward to a time when we can facilitate visitation inside the facility again. 

Currently we are in the Purple Tier here in Shasta County, so that means that we are restricted from visitation inside the facility. As soon as Shasta County falls into the Red Tier we will begin to facilitate indoor visitation once again. READ MORE
