Fighting for Our Town – Fighting for Our Country
Chairman's Message

Dear Radnor Republicans and Friends:

Please join me in recognizing our exceptional volunteers who work each and every Election Day to ensure that our polling places run efficiently and effectively and who ensure that voters are engaged and informed when they vote. More than 50 fellow Republicans staffed Radnor‘s 14 polling stations to ensure free and fair elections for all.

To all of you who invested the time to learn about our candidates and supported them with your votes in a local Primary, I salute you. As I visited many of our polling stations on Election Day, I was continually impressed with the professionalism of our Grand Old Party – candidates, volunteer workers and our exceptional, engaged voters.

All of our endorsed candidates won their Primaries and will appear on the General Election ballot in November.

Below in this newsletter are links to the primary election results for Radnor and Delaware County. In these, results you will see a couple of trends: a much larger percentage turn-out of Democrats (20.9%) than Republicans (15.5%) in Radnor, but also the cross-over appeal of our candidates, as many Democrats voted for our Republican School Board and Judge candidates who had “cross filed.”

Here is why I am so optimistic for the General Election: our Republican voter turnout will be great and our candidates will appeal to voters of all party affiliations.  But we need you to come out and vote.

Radnor Republicans have excellent candidates. Our Township Commissioner and School Board candidates have deep roots in our community, and each is well respected for his or her character, caring and competence. Our voters will turn-out in November for this important local election to support these selfless individuals who have volunteered to serve our community.

At the county level, Radnor residents Kat Copeland and Steve Gerber are running for District Attorney and Judge of Common Pleas, respectively. These two professionals provide a distinct contrast to their opponents – if you care about our Law Enforcement and our county courts, you will be certain to vote for Kat and Steve on November 5 th !

Prior to Election Day, we had a fundraiser for our Radnor candidates headlined by our District Attorney, Kat Copeland. It was informative to hear Kat describe the accomplishments of her office in dealing with the challenges of the opioid crisis, drug and human trafficking and other critical law enforcement responsibilities in Delaware County. What an inspiring figure we have as our D.A., who is running for a second full term! Read more about Kat here.

Our deserving candidates need your support with donations of time and money. Please consider giving one or both to these candidates who volunteer to serve you. More information is provided below. No donation is too small.

Thanks again to our candidates, election board team, committee members and voters during our Primary Election. Let’s do it again in November...and bring a friend!
