RECORD LONG HEAT WAVE FORECASTED

Now it is getting real interesting. The forecast today predicts we may beat our all-time record for consecutive days over 90 degrees. The record is 10 days and the forecast is for 12 days starting Friday. http://www.weather.com/forecast/regional/news/record-west-heat-wave-northwest-great-basin-latejun2015

As reported Monday, we are on high alert this week in preparation for the severe weather.  Although most of the landscapes we maintain have irrigation, severe weather like this pushes most systems to their limit.  In addition, any small problem quickly manifests to a crisis when temperatures top 90 degrees.  We will be working diligently all week and through the weekend to minimize the problems created by this abnormal weather.

PREPARE FOR HIGH WATER BILLS

With the forecast Heat Wave over the next week, our water use may be double last year through the end of June.  Your water bills will be much larger than normal through early part of the summer.  We work hard to conserve water but maintaining healthy plants and green grass is always our first priority.
