Select players and above - join us this holiday break for our 2-day Elite camp, Saturday futsal clinics, or futsal preseason camp to help improve your game this winter!
Holiday 2-Day Camp (December 16-17): Over two full days, Elite Department Coaches will work with players to develop their creative side. The ability of players to make an impact in a game can come down to brief moments. Insightful passes, imaginative movements off the ball, and technical mastery in possession are all difference-makers. Rapids Elite staff will look to base this camp on attacking options created as individuals or as a team in the final two-thirds of the field.
Saturday Futsal Clinics (4 Weeks, February & March): Improve your skills and accelerate your development every Saturday! Futsal clinics at The Berce Futsal Facility on Regis University's campus offer players the opportunity to grow in new areas of futsal development during the cold months. These clinics are open to boys and girls ages 8U to 13U (born in 2016-2011).
Friday Night High School Girls Futsal Preseason Camp (6 Weeks, January, February, & March): Get ahead of the pack with Elite indoor training! Girls born between 2009 – 2005 will have the opportunity to hone technical/tactical skills while building a foundation of self-confidence. SportsRecruits Information 2023: All high school players have been provided with a FREE account on the SportsRecruits platform that will allow them to set up an athletic and academic profile, search for potential colleges, create and host highlight videos, and communicate directly with any college soccer coach in the country! The Rapids College Placement Program recommends that student-athletes and their families take advantage of this opportunity by completing their profile with an updated photo, GPA, jersey number, email, and graduation year! | | |
CRYSC offers athletes assistance in the college recruitment process through the CRYSC College Placement Program (CPP) starting their freshman year in high school. This free service helps teams and individuals with player profiles, video development, online support guides, college communication, and understanding of college timelines. The CPP provides players with the opportunity to take their education and game to the next level.
If you want to get involved or have questions about the program, please contact Anthony Presnell at anthony.presnell@rapidsyouthsoccer.org or visit the college soccer page on the CRYSC website!

Off the field, Isabella is a member of her church’s youth group, volunteers for children’s ministries, and participates in school theater. Follow the link to read more!

Read about how self-reflection pays dividends on and off the field!
| |
In this updated blog, CRYSC's Director of Mental Performance Katie Pagel dives into how self-reflection is ubiquitous, especially in youth soccer.
"While time and experience lend us the opportunity to learn and grow, self-reflection is the true linchpin of optimal development and performance. In order to get the most out of our experiences, and ultimately become the best version of ourselves (on and off the field), we must commit to practicing self-reflection." PATELLAFEMORAL PAIN SYNDROME | SPORTS MEDICINE
Check out this new guide for treating PFPS at home!
| |
"CRYSC Head Athletic Trainer, Julie Graves has seen an increase in Patellafemoral Pain Syndrome (PFPS) among adolescent athletes. This condition presents with general knee pain that can be sharp with certain movements and dull at other times. It normally is a gradual onset of pain without remembering a specific mechanism of injury or when the pain started. When diagnosed early, PFPS can be treated with at-home rehab or, if serious enough, formal physical therapy."
Follow the link below to learn more about PFPS and read our full guide on rehabbing to reduce or eliminate symptom pain!

Since 2018, CRYSC and UCHealth have worked together in an effort to grow the safety and health resources that are available for Rapids Youth players and members.
