Curbside Services Available
As the COVID-19 cases increase nationwide and particularly, in Miami County, our library is committed to providing varied services to patrons, including our Curbside Services. If you request your account to be changed to "Curbside," any holds or requests made will be checked out to you and waiting in the rear entrance shelves of our library and available for pickup during our hours of operation. Our library staff will notify you of the items available for pickup and have the items checked out to your account--all you have to do is pull up to our rear entrance (or find a parking spot), hop out of your car, grab your items and go. To change your account to "Curbside," contact us via email at info@tippcitylibrary.org or by phone at (937) 667-3826.

We will continue receiving returned items in our front and rear drop boxes and inside our library at the front circulation desk drop box. Our library quarantines all returned items for 7 days, so the returned items will not fall off of your account until after our staff has checked them back in after the 7 day quarantining period. But remember, our library remains fine free, so you will not be charged for any fees once the item(s) is returned.
Library Closed November 26
Our library is closed on Thursday, November 26. We will repen again on Friday, November 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We wish all of our patrons a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

If you have any questions, feel free to contact our library via email at info@tippcitylibrary.org or by phone at (937) 667-3826.

Virtual Book Club
Catch up with our library's Virtual Book Club this week on our Facebook page. This week, we focus on Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery.

Anne of Green Gables follows the story of Eleven-year-old Anne, who has bounced around from foster homes to orphanages, never having a real place to call home. When she is mistakenly sent to live with the Cuthberts, she wants to stay forever, but Anne is not the boy Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert were expecting. Anne is not like anybody else, but the longer she stays at Green Gables, the harder it is for anyone to imagine life without her.

The first in an anthology series, Anne of Green Gables has been translated into at least 36 different languages and has sold more than 50 million copies, making it one of the best selling books worldwide. You can find Anne of Green Gables for download on one of our free online streaming services like Hoopla or Libby.

Option to Return Tipp City Schools' Books at Our Library
old_hard_cover_books.jpg
This is a special reminder to parents of students who attend Tipp City Schools. When our library receives books from the Tipp City Exempted Schools that have been returned in our book drops, we will make sure they get back to the school district libraries. We typically hold onto their books until the end of the month and then deliver them to the school district librarians.

Tipp City Public Library is happy to accept these books and return them for families to the Tipp City Exempted School District, especially during the pandemic when the school district may have to return to at-home online learning.
