Updated San Juan County Public Health orders extends through May 1st. The new order "loosens restrictions on travel to the county for those who are full time RVers as well as those who can do so without violating a state or local travel restriction in their home jurisdiction. Other changes include the loosening of restrictions for many face to face visits with family and friends."

As a reminder to local governments and regarding
Submission Required for Receipt of Coronavirus Relief Fund Payments
. For COVID-19 related funding eligible local governments need to complete the follow certification. Eligible governments should provide payment information and required supporting documentation not later than
9:59 p.m. MST TODAY, April 17, 2020
. Eligible local governments and Tribal governments should click on the applicable link below to download text necessary to complete this submission. The text should be copied and pasted onto official government letterhead and signed. You will be prompted to attach a copy of the scanned document on the submission page.

Utah Leads Together 2.0,
in this afternoon's press conference the Governor offered hope that the "stabilization phase" for Utah is around the corner. To learn what this means as well as to read the state's updated COVID-19 plan for urgent response and recovery follow this link:
New Utah Leads 2.0 Plan
The new plan's ultimate objective is to align public health and economic health to ensure strong recovery. It includes dashboards about COVID-19 data, specific guidance about how industries can adapt to public health requirements, recommendations for local government, and a color-coded health guidance system for how businesses, non-profits, and governments can safely re-engage in-person with their customers and employees.

The
US Chamber of Commerce Foundation
opened a Save Small Business $5,000 grant initiative offering short-term relief for small employers in the United States and its territories. Applications go live April 20, 2020 at 12PM PST
TO QUALIFY YOU MUST
- Employ between 3 and 20 people
- Be located in an economically vulnerable community
- Have been harmed financially by the COVID-19 pandemic

The House and Senate both adjourned until next Thursday and their call expires next weekend. House and Senate leaders indicated that there will be multiple special sessions this spring.

USDA Rural Development
has taken a number of immediate actions to help rural residents, businesses and communities affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. Rural Development will keep our customers, partners, and stakeholders continuously updated as more actions are taken to better serve rural America.

SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan Advance
.
In order to qualify for the Advance, you must submit this
new application
even if you previously (prior to 3/30/20) submitted an EIDL application. Applying for the Advance will not impact the status or slow your existing EIDL application.
Funds will be made available within three days of a successful application, and this loan advance will not have to be repaid.
