We continue to monitor extremist activities leveraging COVID-19 in various threats. In Italy, an anonymous left-wing anarchist urged followers to help disrupt capitalism by stealing from Lidl Supermarkets. The statement released on a the Plague and Fire website, "Widespread Expropriation, a Call to Revolt," called on a simultaneous, mass looting of food and other items of Lidl stores in Palermo. The manifesto appears to be the first such call against an international grocery store chain during the pandemic. The regulation of food supplies remains paramount in controlling the shelter in place laws - as long as supplies last, it is assumed that the people will tend to obey the laws. It should be noted that there was an attempted looting 30 March 2020 Lidl grocery store in Via Regione, one of the largest and most frequented of Palermo. Employees at the location reported that the looters had told them “Enough of being at home, we don’t have money to pay, we have to eat.”

Telegram Channel: "These Are the Kinds of Things That Make 5G Towers Heat Up" (Circulated With Image of Sniper Scope Focused on Railroad Overhead Electrical Line)

Extremists continue to threaten 5G cell towers in the U.K. and Europe. The poster at right of a snoper scope focused on an train electrical line. The image was reposted across major extreme far right Telegram channels. One in particular has 5,384 subscribers and continues to grow at an alarming rate. The channel's influence among the Eco-Fascist online community cannot be understated. Within 24 hours of the first post, at least 1,800 people had viewed the poster; another 1,100 people viewed the photo posted immediately prior to the poster. The message with the poster recommends that no one waste time during the Coronavirus lockdowns. To date there have been 5 nations to experience arson attacks on 5G networks: Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Greek Cyprus and United Kingdom.

The image is of concern. No single nation has been hit harder with arson attacks on their 5G networks than the United Kingdom and the United Kingdom, like the rest of Europe, relies heavily on railroad ground transportation of goods. The overhead electrical lines on train tracks are high voltage circulate power to the trains; it is unclear in the photo if the sniper scope is also focused on a feeder station for the electrical line.

The 5G focus outside of the U.K. is clear on another Telegram channel that created a Telegra.ph document boasting of being a complete list of all 5G antennas in France.The document provides a map, precise address, ID number, and service provider of the towers. The online activity also included a manifesto boasting that the destruction of the 5G infrastructure was part of the Eco-Fascist's "accelerationism." As reported above, arson attacks on the 5G networks of Belgium, Italy, Netherlands and most notably the United Kingdom, have been reported, but, to date none in France.The Telegra.ph document includes a section at the end with various images of 5G towers. Many of the attacks have mistakenly attacked older infrastructure.
