Register to Attend the LTDC Virtual Showcase on June 16th and 17th
The LTDC Virtual Showcase has been rescheduled to June 16 th and 17 th to allow us the opportunity to reflect on the educational climate we currently find ourselves in. While the dates have changed, the theme for this year’s showcase remains the same, Learning Architects: Building the Future.

Consider registering to attend this free, virtual showcase! You can attend from the comfort of your own home and learn from some great minds across the UW System. You can even keep your pajamas on; we won't tell.

This year’s sessions will cover a number of engaging topics in addition to teaching during a world pandemic, including: a broad view of teaching & learning, the Canvas digital learning environment, technology and other resources, student engagement, open educational resources, and a new track to this year’s showcase, accessibility and universal design for learning.

There is incredible representation across the UW System this year, with faculty and instructional staff presenting on some incredible sessions. Please visit the LTDC Virtual Showcase 2020 website to register to attend the Showcase!

Reminder: Check Kaltura Media for old player logos
The old version of Kaltura is going away, so please make sure to check all of your Kaltura embedded media before June 16th and notify Innovations in Learning if any of your videos contain an old, outdated player.

The IiL team has been going through and swapping out any outdated players, so you may not have any unless you're looking at an old version of a course.

If you see an outdated player, all you need to do is remove the current video and replace it with the updated video in your My Media, or contact Innovation. To the left you'll see the current and outdated versions of the Kaltura player.
Instructional Technology Resources & Tips Course
This course was built to provide faculty and staff with a one-stop location for instructional technology tutorials, documentation, and up-to-date information on the tools Parkside has available for teaching and learning.

This course is also designed to highlight innovative teaching techniques and showcase the variety of ways we can teach online using the various third party tools integrated with Canvas.

Instructional Resource Sharing Course
This course is much more informal and was built as an outlet to share ideas about teaching and learning on campus. Whether you're looking for ways to effectively use the discussion board in an online class, or wanting to share an innovative project your students are doing this semester, this course is designed with those ideas in mind.

You'll notice it's almost empty right now, and that's because we're waiting for all of you to self-enroll and start some new Discussions!
