Please join us for Mass to celebrate the Feast of Mary, the Holy Mother of God tonight at 5 p.m. or tomorrow at 10 a.m.
This year we launched a new way to reach out to parishioners via email. Some clever soul (i.e. Fr. Rich) named it JosaFAST. In addition to parish updates and information, JosaFAST provided a space for reflection on a variety of topics throughout the year. Want to catch up on any you missed? Click here.

The JosaFAST that started Lent focused on the key ideas of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. While it may seem that this is a seasonal message, these pillars are in fact applicable throughout the year. This JosaFAST reminds us of how we can make positive changes and where to look for changes to make. Fr. Rich also touched on the idea of almsgiving during the dog days of summer with a powerful message about helping the poor that is definitely worth looking at again.

JosaFAST accompanied us on our journey throughout a year in the life of our church and our community. We saw our Confirmands reflect on their preparation and enlighten us with their wisdom. We welcomed our new Catholic sister who entered the faith through RCIA. We heard from some of our youngest parishioners-the First Communicants-on what makes this sacrament, which can become almost routine, special to them. We got to know our Deacon, Pat Casey, and his wife, Judy and, later in the year, Fr. Wojciech. We wished our graduating 8th Graders the best  and said goodbye to Fr. Jose, Deacon Dave, and Erin Shields. We already miss them, but know they are achieving big things! Later in the year, we celebrated the Feast of St. Josaphat and learned more about our saint and this very exciting day for our parish! We also kicked off the Rebuilding our Home Campaign and got to know the co-chairs of this important effort.

JosaFAST also provided a space to share reflection on topics ranging from Palm Sunday to the Sacred Triduum to scripture passages to Thanksgiving to the Holy Year of Mercy.

We hope you enjoyed the first year of JosaFAST and we look forward to giving you more great content in the coming year. If you have any suggestions for how to make JosaFAST even better, or have a particular topic of interest, please send an email to [email protected]

Happy New Year!
