Dear Members and Friends,

Our community mourns the loss of Eileen Smith, a Moorings resident and MPOA member. Our deepest condolences to her loved ones and prayers for the continued recovery of her husband, Barrie Smith. The Smiths were struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Crayton Road and Harbour Drive on Friday, November 8th. The Naples Police Department is still investigating. We are actively working with City officials to identify and implement immediate and long-term safety improvements at this intersection.

The Beach Park has reopened. While efforts continue to repair damage caused by Hurricane Milton and create a retention area required by the City, please be aware that construction vehicles may be present on the south side of the park. In an effort to save as much of the grass as possible, the irrigation system is active during park hours. We anticipate the installation of new gate motors within the next two weeks. Until the gates are operational, the park will be open daily from 10 AM to sunset.

Membership renewal for 2025 is now open on the MPOA website which has been updated and now includes a FAQ section to answer many member inquiries.

See you at the Beach Park.

The Beach Park is has reopened. New trash and recycling bins are in place, the gates are scheduled for repair, some landscaping is being replaced, and the grass is being cared for in the hope of a comeback.
