Family Promise at Grace:

May 5-11

We are hosting Family Promise this week! At this time, all our volunteer needs are met - thank you to everyone who is participating in this life-and-dignity-giving ministry!

Thank you for a great Plant Sale!

Our Plant sale in support of the ELCA Youth Gathering Group was a great success! We look forward to sharing the total number of funds raised with you next week!

A special thank you to Sabrina Blanks for cultivating and selling such beautiful plants!

Ball Game!

Grace is going to the Winthrop Baseball Game on Saturday, May 18, at 2pm!

Tickets are $4 each. Please click HERE to let us know you plan to attend, so we can purchase tickets.

VBS Registration is Open!

June 17-21 + 9am-12pm

We are so excited to bring VBS back to Grace!

In this great week, we'll dive deep into an amazing undersea adventure where we'll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God.

Grace VBS is for kids 3 years old* - entering 6th Grade.

Older youth are invited to volunteer!

*Children must be potty-trained, or otherwise have an adult stay on site to take care of diaper/ pull-up changing.

We have many opportunities available for volunteers of all ages and interests! We are especially looking for volunteers to be Crew Leaders - those who lead the children through VBS and encourage them on the way!

All our volunteers will be trained according to the Grace Child Protection Policy, which can be requested from the church office.

Card Ministry is Meeting!

Wednesday, May 15th there will be a meeting to share information about Rachel’s Ring/ Card Ministry.

Everyone is invited to learn more about this ministry! You don’t need card-making experience, just a loving heart and a willingness to “make someone’s day” with a handmade card. The meeting will be at 10:00 in room 105.

I would like to say thank you to everyone that helped me through my recovery from back surgery two months ago. From the get-well cards to the meals that were brought over, visitors, home chore helpers, phone calls and prayers. A special thank you to GraceC Quilts for the healing quilt presented to me.

The support was well received and needed. I am not at 100% yet. But I am so much better than I was 3 weeks ago. I look forward to seeing all of you back at church. Hopefully, next week. Thanks again for everything!

Seniors@Grace

Seniors@Grace will host our very own Walker Stockley as our guest and BBQ master as he caters our next event on May 23. He will also share with us helpful hints and reminders on food safety. Come and join us for good food and fellowship. You are welcome no matter your age you just need to like yummy BBQ. We meet at 11:30 am with lunch at 12 noon.

Beginning June 2nd, we will switch to our summer worship schedule of one combined worship service at 10am! This summer schedule will run through June and July.

We look forward to worshipping all together this summer!
