New ESD#1/Horizon Fire Department HQ

Congratulations to Emergency Services District #1/Horizon Fire Department on the groundbreaking of their new headquarters! The new facility, located on Paseo del Este Rd., will house their administrative offices, the Fire Marshal’s Office, and a vehicle maintenance building, which will help them better serve our growing community!

Annual Community Clean-Ups Start Up Again

The County’s annual community cleanup trash disposal events have started up again, where residents can bring bulk trash items, tires, paint, household chemicals and electronics to be properly disposed of! This pat month’s event was in Agua Dulce, and there are more events scheduled in San Elizario and Fabens during the summer. Call 915-546-2144 for information on future community cleanups! 2024 Multiyear Capital Planning Meetings

A special thank you to everyone who attended the County's Multiyear Capital Plan workshop held at Fabens High School. In total, four workshops were held in Pct. 3 and additional workshops will be scheduled soon. It is very important for our community to be informed about the County's Capital Plan, so please attend a future meeting if you can!

El Paso Rhinos Make It to the Robertson Cup Semifinals!

The El Paso Rhinos had a great season and made it to the Robertson Cup Semifinals this year! Although the Rhinos did not advance to the finals, we are still incredibly proud of them! Be sure to catch a game next season and cheer them on to another great season!

San Elizario Earth Day Celebration

Thank you to the City of San Elizario and San Elizario Urban Agriculture for organizing this year’s Earth Day celebration! We learned about composting, the best months to plant fruits and vegetables, and won a pomegranate tree in the raffle!

Fabens Roads & Bridges Hosts Community Meeting

Thank you to everyone who attended the informational meeting about the Fabens Sidewalk Project taking place throughout the month of April.
