Snapshot Schedule Change

Starting next week, we will be circulating the DEM snapshot monthly instead of weekly.

Open Enrollment: 10/27-11/18

Open Enrollment for faculty and staff began on Thursday, Oct 27 at 8 AM. The enrollment period ends on Nov 18 at 5 PM. If your changes are not entered by the enrollment close, they cannot be changed. Enrollment changes are effective Jan 1, 2023. If you need assistance, there is an Open Enrollment website and help desk.

Pumpkin Carving

Thank you to all who attended last week's pumpkin carving event! We had a great turn out. If you have any pictures you would like to add to the group album, please send them to experimentalmedicine@ucsf.edu.

DPH Annual Compliance Trainings

Thank you to everyone in the Division who completed your trainings. We were at 98% completion by the 11/1 deadline.

Incubator 10 Cleaning Friday, 11/4/22

Please note, Incubator 10 in P2* Room 615 is being cleaned on Friday, 11/4 at 6AM. Please remove all cultures by the end of day on Thursday, 11/3. Failure to move your cultures may result in their disposal.

DOM Falliday Festival - 11/18

On Friday, 11/18, there will be an event at Spark Social SF for all DOM faculty, staff, and trainees.

An RSVP has been sent to you all by DOM.

UCSF COVID-19 Policy Updates

Food and drinks are permitted when at 50% occupancy staff are present together in in-door, non-clinical areas. Masking is still required on-site.

Visitors are required to be fully vaccinated or have a negative COVID test before entering any building on the ZSFG campus.

Staff can obtain COVID testing at the OHS employee testing tent in the parking lot by Avon Breast Center, Mon-Sun from 6:30am-4:30pm or from the Color vending machine in Building 9. Color and PCR tests, home-based antigen testing are an option for returning to work with COVID-like symptoms.
