LOCT & CGTA Theatre Tool Drive
The League of Chicago Theatres and Chicago Green Theatre Alliance are hosting a Theatre Tool Drive on Friday, April 12th at Steep Theatre! Bring your drills, sewing needles, cables, and flashlights to swap or donate while connecting with fellow industry professionals. ComEd Applications Deadline Extended!
The ComEd Powering the Arts Program has been designed to assist local institutions in these efforts by providing funding for some expenses toward these goals (grant awards of up to $10,000).
Eligible applicants are nonprofit arts and cultural institutions that are located within ComEd’s service territory, and must be in good standing with ComEd related to provision of utilities. Application Deadline: 4/12/24 at 5pm. You can find all the information and application forms here.

Submit Your Summer Shows
The League’s professionally-printed Summer Theatre Guide will include productions happening from Memorial Day, May 27th through Labor Day, September 2nd.
To ensure your shows are included in the summer guide, your show pages must be on ChicagoPlays.com by Wednesday, April 17th.
Please note that only shows listed on ChicagoPlays.com will be included in the guide. If you have questions, please contact Kara@chicagoplays.com.
In addition to your free listing, you can also help cover the printing cost by placing an advertisement for your show. If you are interested in placing an ad, contact Hayley@chicagoplays.com. Ad space reservations are also due by Wednesday, April 17th.

TCG National Conference Scholarship and Subsidy Opportunities
Scholarship and subsidy opportunities are available to folks experiencing critical needs or financial hardship. A minimum of 51% of support will be awarded to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), TGNC, and disability communities. In addition, TCG encourages multigenerational representation and applications from those who are: 30 years old and under, 60 years old and over. Learn more here.
