Artemis Joukowsky '77 Shares Story at Upper Division Assembly
|
In April, an Upper Division Assembly featured Artemis Joukowsky '77, who spoke to students about a memorable assignment he was given as a student at Allen-Stevenson.
When asked by Past Assistant Head of School John Pariseau h'98 to interview a family member, Artemis uncovered the story of his grandparents, and this story eventually led to him working with documentarian Ken Burns on the film Defying the Nazis: The Sharp’s War. Click here to read more.
Mr. Joukowsky was joined at the Assembly by two fellow classmates, Dewey Wigod ’77 and Bradley Kulman ’77.

Kindergarten students went on exciting adventures outside of the classroom to peek behind the curtain; each class studied a different group of A-S community helpers. Ms. Phillips's class visited and interviewed A-S celebrity, Mr. Acerbo, in his office before creating a block replica of his space.
