✡︎ Shalom and Good Day, Friends ✡︎
Our recent Monthly Mishpacha meeting took place on Sunday September 3rd. These meetings generate a lot of energy and action that help move along our mission. We get stronger and better focused together. I hope to give a report on each of these gatherings in the future.
Our Monthly Mishpacha meetings are opportunitities for our pro-life Jewish family and friends to come together for prayer and confidential conversation, connection, and collaboration. We usually meet on the first or second Sunday of each month from 2 pm ET to 3:30 pm ET. Participants can come in late and leave early to accommodate their personal schedules.
A volunteer reads Psalm 100 and then I bring the group up to date on what's happening at the JPLF. Then we have open discussion. We don't record the meetings so our attendees feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings and ideas. We close with a volunteer reading of Psalm 146.
At our recent meeting I gave a report of my networking trip to Las Vegas NV and Casper WY, the Billboard campaign, an update on the Israel Pro-LIfe Education Project, and various connections I made during the past month.
We talked about launching the Billboard Campaign. Many of the Mishpacha participants weighed in on the board designs over the past weeks, and we were all happy and excited to see the fruits of our labor. Please share our crowdfunding campaign to expand our billboards into more markets at https://www.givesendgo.com/GB35R.
We also discussed opening an online store to disseminate our materials and generate more public support for our work. As a new public charity, we need several ways to gain public support to meet IRS requirements. A store would be very helpful. We have a long list of items to sell. I hope to purchase an online store app for our website in October and start purchasing the items. We welcome tax deductible 'in kind donation' too. As the items arrive, I will add them to the store, and hopefully open the store by the end of 2023.
We had a lively discussion about finding a celebrity or well known influencer to help promote our mission. Many different names were offered, and the pros and cons of each of them were voiced. The consensus formed around having a Jewish person with a good reputation and a pro-life public record. Whenever our group has these discussions, Dennis Prager and Ben Shapiro come up as possibilities, but neither of these two has ever responded to our outreach attempts. We decided on Ben Stein as a possibility. We will reach out to him before the next Monthly Mishpacha meeting.
Our meetings always include a bit of political talk along with frustration with the Jewish pro-abortion lobby. It's a time to vent these frustrations and brainstorm about ways we can share our unique Jewish message to counteract the damage done by our wayward brothers and sisters.
If you want to participate in the billboard effort, the store creation, the Israel Pro-LIfe Education Project and our networking activities, or you feel the need to share your experiences, thoughts, feelings and ideas, please attend our Monthly Mishpacha.
Because Jewish holidays fall on the first and second Sundays in October, our October meeting is scheduled for Monday October 9th from 7 pm ET to 8:30 pm ET. I will send out a reminder a few days before with the registration link.
Thank you for reading and sharing this newsletter, and welcome to our new subscribers and donors.
Wishing you a Sweet and Torah Inspired New Year.

May there be abundant peace from Heaven, and good life upon us and upon all Israel. Amen.
