Rotary park playground

New Playground Equipment Now Open at Rotary Park!


Thanks to a grant from PlayCore, Nixa Parks have been able to update the main playground structure at Rotary Park.

Route 160 & CC Intersection Improvements


MoDOT is working to improve intersections along U.S. Route 160. This project focuses on the intersection at Rt. 160 and Route CC north of Nixa. MoDOT has broke ground on improvements.

Northview Road Extension


This is a combination of two projects;


the expansion of the roundabout at Northview Rd. & Gregg Rd.


and the widening of Northview Rd. from Tractor Supply in Nixa to just west of Old Wilderness Rd., which will include a new intersection and turn lanes to Old Wilderness.

Route 14 Widening Project


This widening project is anticipated to be complete by Summer 2024.


MoDOT is widening Rt. 14 (Mount Vernon St.). to five lanes - two lanes in each direction with a center turn lane - between Fort Street and Tiffany Boulevard. Multiple factors, including weather, make project schedules subject to change.

The guest speaker for this event will be the Nixa Fire Protection District.

September 4: City Offices Closed in Observance of Labor Day.


This includes the Nixa Recycle Center.

September 7: City Council Meeting @ Nixa City Hall, 7 p.m.


This meeting was originally scheduled for September 11th, but has been moved due to a lack of quorum.

September 9: Movie in the Park Sponsored by Messengale Group of KW (Top Gun - Maverick)

@ McCauley Park, Dusk

September 21-23: Nixa Fall City-Wide Garage Sale


This event is organized by the Nixa Area Chamber of Commerce.

September 23: 2nd Annual Multi-Cultural Festival @ Rotary Park, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

September 25: City Council Meeting @ Nixa City Hall, 7 p.m.

September 28: Community Update @ the Nixa Senior Center, Noon


The guest speaker for this event will be Nixa Public Schools.

September 28: Nixa vs Ozark Blood Drive @ Nixa City Hall, 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
