The school is buzzing in anticipation of the Fall Bazaar happening this Saturday. Here is an overview of what to expect and where we still need help.
Friday - Setup & Preview Night
After the 12:30 Dismissal on Friday, the transformation of the school building begins in earnest.
- The Children's Garden classrooms become spaces for activities like Candle Craft (pictured above), the Enchantment Shop (where children shop on their own with tickets), and the Crystal Cave.
- In the the Lower School classrooms, desks are moved aside to make space for 40+ vendors. Vendors will start to arrive for setup at 3pm on Friday.
- The auditorium and upstairs High School classrooms are readied for the Waldorf Store, additional activities, and to provide spaces to gather, eat, and socialize.
- The Library and the Garden House are prepared for puppet show and story time presentations.
-
Baked goods should be delivered to the WWS auditorium Friday afternoon.
| |
Preview Night from 7-9pm (tickets required)
-
Guests will enjoy an early shopping experience and refreshments while browsing the work of artisan vendors.

| |
Final setup tasks are done in the morning and the Fall Bazaar opens to the public at 10am.
The Bazaar is open 10am - 3pm
- Be sure to arrive promptly for any volunteer shifts that you are covering.
- Enjoy yourselves! Shop the Waldorf Store and the 40+ Vendors. Create delightful crafts and attend shows with your family. Socialize and eat delicious treats!

More information about the Evening:
Helping Children Feel Calm in an Anxious World
Rates of anxiety have increased dramatically over the last several years. Part of that comes from shifts in our nervous system, some from just navigating so much change. We will explore ways to help children (and adults) calm, center and find greater well-being in a stressful time.
Adam Blanning, MD teaches nationally and internationally about children's development, using the lens of Waldorf education and anthroposophic medicine. He practices in Denver, Colorado, and is himself a Waldorf graduate (and parent).

The Inner Compass Process Online Course
From Danielle Roessle (WWS Alum & Former Faculty)
Former WWS College Advisor Danielle Roessle, LCSW, Career and Business Alignment Coach, noticed that many professionals who were unhappy with their career were not using their time and talents in a way that felt meaningful to them. In her decades of experience, one of the best ways for individuals to find more fulfilling career opportunities is by exploring childhood memories and identifying patterns of where they thrive and what holds them back — Why? — Because a person’s behavioral patterns and motivating talents are formed in childhood, and these insights can be used to clarify their career or business direction.
Danielle is excited to announce the launch of The Inner Compass Process self paced online course on October 30th. The course guides career changers and business owners through a series of exercises to rediscover what makes them thrive, research career/business opportunities that are more aligned with their needs, and create a roadmap of next steps to achieve their goals.
