Fall Bazaar Preview
 Activities and Events
On Saturday November 19th, our school's halls will again hum with the cheer of friends and neighbors, young and old, convening to celebrate and enjoy. Delightful crafts and activities, delicious food and treats, and treasures ready to purchase will send you home thoroughly nourished. We've highlighted a few key aspects of this year's event to help you plan your visit. No admission fee on Saturday.
Activities and Crafts
This column of activities are especially for our younger attendees:

Castle Catapult
The Castle Catapult will have the children cheering as they catapult a felt ball over the castle wall and wait with anticipation as the drawbridge lowers and reveals a special surprise.

Crystal Cave
Children journey into a sparkling, snow-covered land of wonder and beauty to meet the Winter Fairy.
3 tickets

Fishing Cove
Children cast their fishing rods into the deep blue sea and reel in a gleaming treasure.
2 tickets

Pocket Wizards
These wonderful wizards roam the halls in a long cape lined with pockets, each filled with a small treasure.
2 tickets (note some items not suitable for children under 3)

Short & Sweet
Three simple crafts for shorter attention spans: sun-catchers, kite paper stars and wooden bead bracelets.
4 tickets
Candle Craft
Children adorn a candle with colorful beeswax shapes; some candles also have a wooden base to decorate with objects from nature.
12 tickets, 15 for take home kit

Copper Lanterns
Children pierce copper sheets with a hammer and nail to create their own unique glowing luminaries.
10 tickets

Hand & Face Painting
Our older students will be delighted to decorate your younger ones!
4-10 tickets (depending on complexity of design selected)

Silk Painting
Children use brushes and silk paints to create beautiful designs on silk scarves, neckties, and gift bags.
7-18 Tickets depending on item selected.
Note: closes early at 2:30 pm

Wood Craft
Children assemble wooden pieces to make a tray-style bird feeder.
12 tickets

Activity and crafts tickets are $1/each. They are sold individually at the Bazaar or can be purchased in advance in bundles of 10. Pre-purchased tickets must be picked up at WWS the week before the Bazaar or at Preview Night.
Dining, Shopping, & Entertainment
Indoor and outdoor seating for dining will be available, weather permitting.

Lunch from the Kitchen
Chef D and his team will provide a nourishing menu highlighting the flavors of the fall season.

Snack Shop in the Foyer
Light fare available at the entrance - grab something to keep you fueled on the go.

The Patisserie
Our community's talented bakers create cakes, pies, cookies and other sweets.
Bistro in the Auditorium
Sandwiches and salads available.

Music Performances
Listen to live music while dining on delicious food. Ensembles change
throughout the day so you will have a chance to hear many talented musicians. Free, no tickets required.

Puppet Shows &
Tiny Story Times
Our Children’s Garden faculty offer traditional marionette puppet shows featuring handmade puppets, a beautiful set and a special story, with separate story times for our youngest guests featuring a series of smaller vignettes, songs and finger games. All performances will be indoors.
Puppet Shows are $5 (everyone needs a separate ticket) Suggested for ages 4-8
Tiny Story Times are $5 (ticket includes entry for one adult and one child) Suggested for ages 2-4

Puppet and Story Time attendance is limited; limited timed tickets for each show will be available soon.
The Enchantment Shop
Children adore making their own purchases in a beautifully designed shop that is just for them. The shop is stocked with handmade and natural treasures that may be purchased with Bazaar tickets. Sixth grade students assist children as they shop.

The Waldorf Store
One of the highlights of the Fall Bazaar, this is the destination for otherwise hard-to-find Waldorf-friendly books, toys, art supplies and home décor. The Waldorf Store is a well-curated trove of items perfect for gift-giving and treasuring.

WWS Spirit Shop
Show your school pride with WWS clothing, mugs, and other items.

Artisans & Vendors
Shop a variety of unique and mostly handmade goods, including high quality knitwear, exquisite jewelry, handsome woodwork, sweets, charming felted animals, and other
treasures from around the globe. Stay tuned for more details of this year's artists!

Friday Nov 18 and Saturday Nov 19
Preview Night:
We are excited to be once again opening our doors on Friday night for Preview Night with wine and lite nibbles. From 7-9 pm, enjoy refreshments while having the first opportunity to shop this year's treasures. Limited tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Advance online sales will close Thursday November 17th at 5pm. Adults only please.
Pre-Purchase Activity Tickets
Save time by getting your activity tickets in advance! Tickets are $1 each, advance sales are in bundles of 10. Please pick up your tickets at school the week of the Bazaar, or at Preview Night. Tickets will be accepted during the Bazaar on Nov. 19th from 10-3 for all crafts and activities and for some food and drink items.
Lend a Hand - Volunteer
Every current WWS parent or caregiver takes part in the bazaar each year - a tradition for more than five decades. Whether it's baking pies or being a cashier, everyone has a roll to play.
We also welcome volunteers from our alum families.
