Our friend, Yaakov Mosher, attended the Connecticut March for Life on March 22nd. He submitted this report:
Good news -- Fabulous weather.
I was interviewed by The National Catholic Register. The reporter saw my JPLF sign and other Jewish regalia. He took a photo of the sign while I was telling him about you and JPLF.
I quoted him Rabbi Tarfon, Pirkei Avos (2:21). If my name appears in print quoting Rabbi Tarfon then it was worth driving two hours back and forth to Hartford.
I hope I performed kiddush Hashem.
Bad news -- I didn't see any other Jews there. Leora Levy said she planned to attend but I didn't see her and she was not among the speakers (she should have been).
Didn't see Rob Hale.
The acoustics were not good.
There was no rock star speaker so I think attendance may have suffered slightly from that despite the gorgeous weather.
That's all from here.
--Yaakov.
Afterward we learned that Leora Levy and Rob Hale were there, too. Yaakov's comments made it into publication!. Way to go, Yaakov!
