ICYMI: New Employee Space Timeline
DPS is in the process of transitioning from Infor HR/GHR/Lawson to the new Employee Space, hosted by Oracle. The first part of this shift occurred in July 2022, with the implementation of finance functionality in Oracle. The next portion of this transition -- which includes Human Resources functionality, Payroll, and Recruiting -- will go live on April 3, 2023.

In order to ensure accurate data for go live, we are implementing cutoff dates for Human Resources and Payroll procedures (cutoff dates are the last day you are able to enter certain transactions before the go live date.) Access the cutoff dates and timeline here for more information.

Stay tuned for future communications to the broader DPS community, and continue to reference The Commons for more updates on the new Employee Space.

Ensure Your Team Gets Notified for Snow Days and Delays
It’s that time of year when inches of snow can fall at any time! To ensure that you are notified of delayed starts and snow days before heading out the door, follow this guide to make sure your phone number is listed correctly in Infor. We will send a text message to the phone number listed in Infor, and an email to your DPS email address in case of a delayed start or snow day.

Did you previously opt out of text messages? Text Y or Yes to 67587 to receive text messages once again. If you would like to opt out, reply to a district text with N, No, or Stop.

As a reminder, be sure to check the DPS homepage at www.dpsk12.org and district social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) for information about delays and closures.

School Dashboard Advisory Committee: Application to Join Now Open
DPS is launching a committee to support the development of a public-facing school dashboard. The School Dashboard Advisory Committee will help support the development of the dashboard by engaging with community members and making recommendations to the Superintendent.

The committee application/nomination form is open now through Jan. 1, and is available in Amharic, Arabic, Chinese, French, Nepali, Somali, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Individuals can nominate other stakeholders who will then be notified via email. The application will be shared with them directly. Individuals can also self-nominate by completing the form.

Families or community members who need additional support to complete the form can call the Family and Community Engagement (FACE) team at 720-423-3054.
Apply to the Latino Education Advisory Council
We are accepting applications for our Latino Education Advisory Council (LEAC) now through Jan. 4! The purpose of the LEAC is to lead and influence positive change. The LEAC seeks to improve educational opportunities and to provide quality education for all students, particularly students of Hispanic and Latino heritage. Learn more and apply today!

Complete Mid-Year Evaluations with Educational Service Providers/Classified Staff
The Mid-Year Performance Conversation Window for Educational Service Providers/Classified Employees is Dec. 1-Feb. 28. These conversations are a great opportunity to connect and reflect on progress, strengths and areas to improve. This year, supervisors must complete an evaluation for each direct report and submit it to the Growth & Performance team
