Prom Dress Swap

The Tipp City Library will host its second annual prom dress swap for the month of March. Drop off any unwanted dresses starting March 1st during regular business hours. Starting March 13th, patrons can shop for dresses to wear as is or upcycle and make their own. Any dresses left after March 31st will be donated to the Clothesline.

New Cup Dispenser Added to Drinking Fountain

With funds from covid relief for the library, two cup dispensers were purchased. Our contactless drinking fountains now feature a cup dispenser for our patrons without water bottles to enjoy.

Events Planned for the Whole Family

February Family Night: Minute to Win It Games

Join Ms. Julie and Ms. Heidi on Tuesday, February 28 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Meeting Room for hilarious family challenges, based on the hit show, “Minute to Win It”. The whole family will laugh and enjoy our silly games.

Creative Corner

Use your imagination and build something with our cardboard building squares in the Creative Corner from February 16-28. Can you build the tallest structure or the most unusual one? The possibilities are endless!

Storytime Sign-Up Coming Soon

The Spring Session will run from March 6-April 14.  We will skip the last week of March during Tipp City Schools Spring Break.  Sign-ups for this session begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, Februay 27.  You can go to the Children’s Programs webpage and click the links under Storytime Information to sign up or call the Library Information Desk at 937-667-3826 ext. 210.


Baby Cuddle Time will meet on Mondays at 10:30-11:00 AM, Toddler Tales will meet on Wednesdays at 9:30-10:15 OR 10:30-11:15 AM, and Preschool Story Hour meets on Thursdays from 10:15-11:15 AM.  For more information on the storytimes and ages for each group, go to the Children’s Program webpage.

I Love Gaming - Teen Video Game Party

Come play video games on the giant screen in the meeting room on Tuesday, February 21 from 5:30-7:30 PM. Help us break-in the library’s new Nintendo Switch and have some fun challenging your friends! Bring your personal Nintendo Switch from home so more people can get in on the fun. There will be snacks and drinks and various video game competitions. For youth in grades 6-12.

Create a Wildlife Habitat on your own property! It is easier than you think!! By adding native plants, food, water, cover and places to raise young to our yards and gardens, we provide needed wildlife resources and create healthy ecosystems for wildlife and people. Learn how to certify your yard through the National Wildlife Federation certification program.

Overdue for a Brew: Women & the Past, Present, & Future of Beer

Join us for a fun and educational beer tasting as beer writer David Nilsen talks about the past, present, and future of women in the brewing world for Women's History Month.

Since ancient times, women have had a major role in brewing beer. While the majority of today's craft brewers are male, at many points in history women were the primary brewers.
