Gerald Wilkinson Award Winner Announced
Jodi Cox, Executive Director and CEO of the Oklahoma Municipal Retirement Fund (OkMRF) attended the City of Okmulgee’s council meeting on July 19, 2022, to present the George Wilkinson annual award to this year's outstanding authorized agent whose performance of duties is exemplary. OML Annual Conference Award
Nominations Deadline August 5th
Each year at the OML Annual Conference, we recognize our outstanding leaders and projects at the OML Awards Banquet. We will hand out the Mayor of the Year Award, Don Rider Transparency in Government Award, Jeff Shockley Award, Innovations Award and the Woman of the Year. The nomination information is on the OML Conference Website, and the deadline for nominations is August 5th. More Information
OML Board of Directors Call for Nominations
The Oklahoma Municipal League has several Board of Directors positions open for nominations. The districts are District 1, District 3, District 5, District 10 and Towns West. Please click the district name for more information.
2022 OML Conference Registration Open For Delegates and Exhibitors
Registration is now open for the Oklahoma Municipal League’s Annual Conference! This year Pre-Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, September 12th and the Annual Conference and Exposition will kick off September 13th-15th in Tulsa at the Cox Business Convention Center.
Register by August 13th to receive an early bird discount rate of $238 for members and $340 for non-members. After August 13th the conference rate is $280 for members and $400 for non-members. You may still register through Friday, September 2nd. After Friday, September 2nd, please plan to register on-site at the conference registration booth in the Exhibit Hall at the Cox Business Center. Walk-ins are always welcome.
New State Board Seeks Director for State Broadband Office
The newly created Oklahoma Broadband Governing Board is seeking applicants for director of the State Broadband Office. The director will be responsible for building and managing implementation of broadband services throughout the state. The board is chaired by Oklahoma Municipal League Executive Director Mike Fina.
