New Adult Services Assistant
Our library is happy to introduce the newest member of our staff, Jessica Biller. As Adult Services Assistant, Jessica looks forward to serving the Tipp City community. She has lived in Troy, OH all of her life and enjoys to travel. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work. Welcome, Jessica!

Overdue for a Brew: All About Stouts, Part 1

After evolving from the Porter style in the early nineteenth century, stouts proliferated into numerous regional and stylistic variants. In this two-part series, Certified Cicerone David Nilsen will talk about the history of the world's stout styles and guide us through tastings of five different examples in each class. Rubberband Geoboard
January 6-11

Make geometrical shapes and artistic designs with the rubberband board in the Creative Corner in the Children’s Area. What groovy art will you create?
Kids Counting Contest
January 11-18

Come into the Children’s Area and make a guess on the counting jar by Miss Julie & Miss Heidi’s desk. The person who guesses the closest to the correct answer will win a special prize bag. This event is for children ages 3-11.
Pajama Party and Stuffed Animal Sleepover
Tuesday, January 14
6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Get into your pajamas and bring your favorite stuffed animal to the library for some bedtime stories and crafts, then leave your stuffed animal for a sleepover at the library with Miss Julie & Miss Heidi! Come back the next day after 10:00 a.m. to pick-up your stuffed animal and get a photo collage of what shenanigans your stuffed animal was up to at the library sleepover. This event is for children ages 2 years and up with a parent or guardian. No registration is required.

Girls Who Code - Spring Session Registration Begins January 20!
Registration for Tipp City Public Library's Girls Who Code Club - Spring Session, led by Carla DeWit, Teen Librarian, and Johanna Culbertson, club facilitator and software developer, opens January 20! The club meets in the Meeting Room downstairs every Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. beginning February 3 and ending April 20. The club will not be meeting on February 17 when the library is closed for President's Day, or on March 23 during Tipp City School's spring break. Participants are expected not to miss more than two club meetings during this scheduled session.
