The Winter Reading Challenge Is Back!
The kickoff date is getting close for our annual Winter Reading Challenge for families. The challenge will run from January 1-31, 2020, but you can start activating or updating your Beanstack account on December 30, 2019.

Last year’s Winter Reading Challenge was so successful that our library was awarded a $500 prize from Mark Cuban, the national co-sponsor of the 2019 Winter Reading Challenge!
We will offer raffle prizes to those who participate in the Winter Reading Challenge at our library. More info will be coming in January about these raffle prizes.

If you had a Beanstack account from the Summer Reading Club or from last year’s Winter Reading Challenge, just log back into your account from your mobile device using the Beanstack app starting December 30.
Can't remember your log-in name or password? Call our library at (937) 667-3826 or come into our library and one of our staff members will be able to assist you.

Don't have a Beanstack account yet? To setup a new Beanstack account, look for the Winter Reading Challenge banner on our website (coming soon) for more information or download the Beanstack app to your phone.
The Mills Music Mission
Our library partnered with the Wright State University chapter of the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity and gave back to the community by performing for residents living at Randall Residence of Tipp City on December 7, 2019.

Fraternity members, which includes WSU students and community members, sang holiday songs to dozens of residents.

“So many of our individuals thrive on music,” said Vanessa Moore, life enrichment coordinator at Randall Residence.
“Music brings back old emotions, brings back old memories, so they were able to listen to these songs and have a wonderful and positive reaction.”
