APA-WI RACIAL EQUITY STATEMENT

2021 COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE REQUESTS
CARPC is now accepting requests for assistance on 2021 plans and projects. All Dane County municipalities, as well as community organizations working on racial justice issues, are invited to submit requests by August 31, 2020.
PARTNER UPDATES
MATPB REMOTE WORK SURVEY
The Madison Area Transportation Planning Board invites all employees, managers, and executives in the greater Madison region to participate in a survey on the impacts of COVID-19 on work-from-home trends and attitudes. The 10-minute survey is live through June 30. Participants will have the chance to win a $25 VISA gift card .
DANE COUNTY CLIMATE ACTION PLAN
At the May Commission meeting, Commissioners approved a resolution asserting CARPC's support for the Dane County Climate Action Plan. We look forward to working with the Dane County Office of Energy & Climate Change in the effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 50% county-wide by 2030.
DATA & RESOURCES
MAPPING FUTURE ENVIRONMENTAL CORRIDORS TO PRESERVE NATURAL RESOURCES
The latest addition to our Open Data Portal is a map identifying potential future expansions of the County's environmental corridor network. Communities can use this map to plan future urban development and preserve natural resources.
VIRTUAL COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT IN DANE COUNTY
Following our May article on virtual community engagement resources, CARPC conducted a brief, informal survey to get an idea of what tools and practices have been employed by local communities. Visit our website for an overview of the results plus additional virtual engagement resources.
