Tacoma Specialists endorses Penny Cramer for TEA President. Penny's work with the Specialist Advocacy Council has shown her to be tireless, fair-minded, and politic in her approach to encouraging positive change.
Music Teachers Honored
Lincoln High School Teacher Peter Briggs was selected as the Washington Music Educators' Association Music Educator of the Year in the High School Division and National Federation of State High School Music Associations’ Outstanding Music Educator for the state of Washington.
First Creek Middle School and Lincoln High School Teacher Monica Valentine was selected by the Commencement Bay Region as their 2022 WMEA Regional Outstanding Music Educator.
