The Last Word

As we celebrated Thanksgiving last week, I was able to reflect on how thankful I am for the opportunity to serve as your Executive Director and for what a wonderful first year 2019 has been. I appreciate the trust and support that so many of you have shown and I am extremely grateful for the volunteer leaders who generously give their time in service to our profession. AIA Kentucky would not be what it is without them!

Before we can blink, we'll be ringing in 2020 and, with nearly a year in the bag, I am inspired by what we've accomplished and am excited about the opportunities that await in the new year. I look forward to continuing our journey together and hope that you will all explore how you can strengthen your profession and your communities through engagement with the AIA. I welcome you to reach out with questions or suggestions at any time and, until then, I wish you the happiest of holidays!

Cheers,

Kelly E. Ives, AIA, LEED AP
