Bring Your Own Device
December 6,13,20

Free one-on-one technology help is now being offered at Tipp City Public Library, Troy-Miami County Public Library, and Milton-Union Public Library. Guiding Ohio Online is a State Library of Ohio administered competitive LSTA (Library Services and Technology Act) grant. This program seeks to bridge gaps in access to technology and increase digital literacy in rural communities throughout Ohio.

Have questions about Overdrive, Hoopla or your device? Stop by the library to have your questions answered. This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the State Library of Ohio.

Library Receives New Statue Donation
The Tipp City Public Library was recently gifted a new statue for the left-hand flower bed at the Main Street entrance. The generous donation was given by Tipp City local, Sue Ann Re’. The gift is a compliment to the statue in the right-hand garden which was also gifted by Sue Ann Re’ years earlier. When asked what inspired her to donate another statue, Re’ said, “I did so in appreciation of the library and all that it does for the community, for me, and for the love of reading.”

The new statue depicts two children sitting together on a bench sharing a book, which perfectly captures the spirit of Re’s statement about why the library is so important to her--“The library is for everyone and is there for your entire life.”

Sue Ann Re’ has been an active community member and is well known for her many charitable and notable contributions to Tipp City and its residents. We asked Sue Ann what she hopes her gift brings to the community, and she answered, “I hope it stirs their curiosity about what the library can do for them and encourages them to read anything they want.”

The library thanks Sue Ann Re’ for her generosity and invites the community to stop by, take a look, and enjoy the library’s newest addition.
Increased Checkout and Hold Limits for Libby by Overdrive
