Overcome limiting ideas: Some leaders have begun calling this pandemic the Great Pause. I find this to be a good description for what we are experiencing. Now can be a time to question limitations that have held us, and our organizations, back. For instance, remote working has now become more than an idea – it is the reality for millions of people. Now can be a good time to question limitations that have stood in the way of our progress as an organization, a community, a nation, and a planet.
Lesson to Learn: Examining limitations can be helpful in looking toward the future. What stands in our way of genuine progress?
Answer for Me: I am using this time to examine what I thought limited manufacturing and the community. Many prior limitations now seem self-imposed and movable.
Action: Act upon the opportunity to remove limiting ideas and other obstacles that stand in the way of a better tomorrow. Use the Great Pause as a reset button.
Daily Habit: Examine my own limiting thoughts and ideas. What do I really want and why can’t I begin to have those things that would make my life and the lives of others better?
