Pause and Reflect:
During this crisis, our lives can become filled with action and worry. Our minds and bodies can be going nonstop from the time we get up until we end our day. This can be exhausting and reduce our effectiveness. Our bodies need to pause and our minds need to reflect. Rest is a scientifically proven strategy to get better and be more effective. Resting, reflecting, and regathering is an efficient use of time between all the busyness.
Lesson to Learn:
We need to be at our best to give our best. Scheduled and unscheduled pauses and reflections help us be most successful. During a crisis, we need to be intentional about giving ourselves time and space to find calm, hope, and opportunities.
