A Request From CSA Board Chairman, Larry Movshin

Sea Pines Celebrates First Responders
CSA and the entire Sea Pines Community are so thankful to our first responders who are keeping us safe in light of COVID19.

In honor of their heroism, on Friday, April 17 at 7 pm, let's all go outside, and ring bells and applaud our community’s first responders for five minutes. This will be a good opportunity to see your neighbors (from a safe distance and perhaps for the first time in several days). More importantly, it will confirm that Sea Pines remains strong in the face of this pandemic and grateful for those who are on the front lines of fighting it for us.

If you are not “home” in Sea Pines, but instead reading this from somewhere else in the country, please join us in this community event, as you are, of course, a vital part of our Sea Pines Community too!!  And let's make this our new weekly "Happy Hour" Friday night tradition until the Governor's Emergency Orders no longer keep us in our homes sheltering in place.

An Update from The Sea Pines Resort
Dear Sea Pines property owner,

As this would have been the week of the 52nd Annual RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing, it is especially positive to learn the event has been rescheduled for June 18-21. While the tournament will be played without spectators, we’re excited and grateful to have the opportunity to host the PGA TOUR players at Harbour Town Golf Links once again this year.

With the golf course currently closed, we have decided to use this time to complete needed improvements.

For the next three to four weeks, Harbour Town Golf Links will remain closed as we replace all of the cart paths on the course and complete tree trimming and removal. For the safety of the public, no access will be available from any entry point. While it remains closed, please stay off the course at all times. We understand how inviting the weather and the golf course are this time of year, however this is for your safety as we complete these projects.

We also want to remind you of the dangers of using our golf courses for walking and biking. In recent days, we have noticed an increasing number of non-golfers on Atlantic Dunes and Heron Point, which are currently open on a rotational schedule.
We kindly ask that you be mindful of the risk of golf ball injuries and stay off the courses and cart paths when they are open for play. Public access to the golf courses also is restricted as our maintenance crews are at work throughout the day.

We understand these are difficult times and appreciate your cooperation in this matter. As always, thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Cary Corbitt
Vice President Sports & Operations The Sea Pines Resort
