Peace Moving Forward During Pandemic
How has Covid impacted your spiritual life? What about those of your loved ones or those in your community?

The Leadership Council has formed a committee to look at how to serve our members and community during and
post-pandemic. We are looking for input from members about how we might best serve the various communities of worshipers (both in-person and online) that come to Peace looking for support, direction, and community along their spiritual path.
How might Peace better:
Connect with those people unable to meet/worship in person?
Support our in-person members/attenders?
Encourage those watching Peace on-line to become active within our church community?
Assist those in our surrounding neighborhoods who need help and/or spiritual encouragement?
What specific needs might they have?
We would love to hear from you! Please reach out to one of our committee members to share your feedback and observations.

People’s Resource Center
During the months of April and May, Peace will be collecting the following items for the People’s Resource Center (PRC): food, cleaning supplies, and toiletries
We are no longer collecting clothing. Bins are located in the Lobby for drop off.  If you are unable to come into the building, please come during office hours. Call the Church Office and someone can assist you with curbside drop-off.
The People’s Resource Center (PRC) was started in 1975 and is located in both Wheaton and Westmont.  Nearly 26,000 DuPage residents rely on PRC for help each year. They offer food and other basic necessities like clothes and rent assistance for neighbors in need. PRC also connects people with resources — education and tutoring, jobs, technology, art, a caring community–to create a future of hope and opportunity for all.  For more information and additional ways that you can help donate or volunteer directly, please go to their website at www.peoplesrc.org
Serving Opportunity- Help Needed
One of our Seniors in Care and Share is disabled and cannot go out to shop. Although she could have food delivered, grocers won't deliver because she is on food stamps.
She is looking for someone trustworthy to take her food stamps and shop for her 2 to 3 times a month.
She is willing to pay for this help.
In order to protect her privacy, we prefer that anyone interested in helping contact Nancy Ewert via email at [email protected].

Our Prayer Shawls have been relocated to the Church Lobby, and we have a large selection. Take any you would like, and make sure you check out our baby blankets. They’re the perfect gift for baby showers, new babies, and toddler birthdays!
Children & Youth Ministry
Sunday School
(Preschool thru 5th Grade)
A pre-recorded video of Sunday school will be available each Sunday morning at 9:30 am. This video will be 20-25 minutes and will have a Bible Story, music, and activity ideas.

MS Youth Sunday School

Middle School Sunday School is held virtually via Zoom Meeting every Sunday at 1:30 pm.

HS Bible Study

Bible Study for High School Youth is held via Zoom every 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month from 6 to 8 pm.
