June 22- 28
We Are Reopening the Library!
Our library Director, Lisa Santucci, met extensively with Miami County Health Department officials, the Tipp City Public Library Board of Trustees and our library staff and made plans to safely reopen our building to the public.

As of Monday, June 22, beginning at 10:00 a.m., the public will be permitted to enter our building. Our staff will monitor the number of people entering and exiting the building and follow safety guidelines set-forth by the Miami County Health Department. These guidelines will include our staff wearing masks, and we ask that patrons who wish to enter the building also consider wearing masks as well, though they are not required.

We will continue to offer our Curbside Services to those who prefer to drop by and pickup their requested items in our rear entrance. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact our library during our hours of operation, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at (937) 667-3826 or email us at info@tippcitylibrary.org . Even though we have adjusted our services due to COVID-19, we look forward to seeing our building used again by the community in a safe manner.

Imagine Your Story: Performance Series with Jennifer Greer
With so many artists having their shows cancelled this summer, we thought we would bring them to you. As part of this performance series, join us on Facebook Live as authors, poets, musicians, and other artists share their work with you.

Jennifer Greer is a multi-award-winning, detail-obsessed, self-taught singer/songwriter pianist who plays funky art-pop. Growing up in a suburb near New York City, poetry was her first love and artistic medium, though she had been singing since she was a little girl. At 25, she began to write music, being drawn like a magnet to the piano. Greer is a percussionist as she plays the piano against the voice, and a harmonist in hearing what the voice can do against the piano. Her songs stack layers of sound in ways that are delicious and endearing, funky and focused, but never straightforward. Jennifer's songs run from aggressive to impressionistic. She seeks to push the boundaries of pop, by blending jazz, funk and classical "tone poem." In 2008, she co-ran a music series at the Lily Pad in Cambridge, called the Indie Music Collective. Jennifer’s first album, “Jewel Machine” (2001) won the WRSI singer/songwriter competition. In 2005, she released “The Apiary,” which got rave reviews and won Best Adult Alternative CD 2005 from the Muse’s Muse, and Best Unsigned Pop Artist from Verbicide Magazine in 2008. She was also a Finalist in the New Song Mountain Stage competition in 2010 and 2012. To learn more about Jennifer Greer, visit her website at www.jennifergreer.com .

On Friday, June 26 at 6 p.m., join us on our Facebook page for this live performance. You do not have to have a Facebook account to view any of our library's virtual programs.

Virtual Book Club
Catch up with our library's Virtual Book Club this week on our  Facebook page . This week, we focus on The Keeper of Lost Things by Ruth Hogan. Ever since this day, Anthony has become a collector of lost keepsakes, and finds consolation in writing stories about the lost items. Anthony, now older, worries that he has not fully completed his task of reconciling people with their lost items. He passes on this task to his recently divorced assistant. Tasked with this assignment, Laura seeks to find redemption for Anthony, and learns to find redemption for herself along the way. You can find  The Keeper of Lost Things for download on one of our free online streaming services like Hoopla or  Libby .
