Over the past year, very little has been "normal."
We've experienced grief in a variety of ways. Many in the Carmel family are grieving last week's loss of David Lee. While our hearts are heavy, Sunday's worship and message from 1 Peter was a timely reminder of the hope and comfort we have available - found only in Christ.

Joy in the Midst of Suffering
As many of us continue to grieve the loss of David Lee, we pray that the Lord would bring us to a place of abundance where we can experience joy in the midst of deep suffering ( Ps. 66: 12; 1 Pet. 1:8). We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate David's life and continue to pray for his family as they grieve.
