DATA AND MAPPING
IMPROVING AND SAFEGUARDING GROUNDWATER QUALITY THROUGH PLANNING AND PARTNERSHIP
Recent news articles underscore the potential danger of groundwater contamination from agriculture sources in at-risk groundwatersheds. They also highlight an awareness and willingness on the part of the agricultural community to help lower the likelihood of contamination.

In this month's data story, we take a look at one contributor to nonpoint source pollution of groundwater and the ways that the agricultural industry is stepping up to work for positive water quality outcomes in our region.
AGMV SURVEY SUMMARY REPORT
Over 9,000 people from around the region took the Greater Madison Vision survey, sharing their priorities and values for the Greater Madison Region! Residents prioritized conserving natural resources and addressing climate change through green infrastructure and renewable energy. Survey respondents also expressed a need for connecting residents of our region to educational and work services.

Results show that people recognize the importance of working together and using integrated approaches to solve regional problems.

To learn more, visit A Greater Madison Vision for the summary report of all results and breakdowns of results by community.
