The best part about my current role is that I use all my previous experiences when assisting faculty and staff. You never know what resource will be needed or what individual scenario will arise on any given day. I love that about my current career. I get to use the skills I have acquired in order to help you as you consider your own career trajectory.

The summer months on campus often mean fewer parking headaches, shorter lines at our favorite restaurants, and better weather for enjoying nature. It can also mean shifts in the demands of our schedules and the projects and work we are expected to complete. With the ebb and flow of the summer semester, it might be the perfect time to pilot a flexible work arrangement.

The team presented a poster titled, "Innovation in Worklife Metrics: Work Made Visible!" It was a well-attended and popular presentation that told a story using data about the WorkLife Office utilization, methods of contact, and types of services provided.

The Outstanding Supervisor Award honors Michigan State University supervisors who have consistently demonstrated work/life sensitivity and support of the professional/personal needs of the employees in their unit.

Winners announced for National Boss Day in October.
