Fundraising Programs
It's the Last Week of the Read-a-Thon!
Keep reading, logging your minutes, and collecting pledges from friend and family sponsors!

Please submit your logs and pledges IN THE TEAM FOLDERS this Wednesday and Thursday, October 25/26.

Students can get excited about the following prizes :

  • Classes with 100% participation will enjoy a Pajama “Extra Reading” Day! (Participation counts as a student turning in a completed log - not by whether they submitted pledges.)
  • Blue Manatee gift cards are awarded to the top readers!
  • The winning team earns a Pizza and Ice Cream Party.

We will announce all the winners next week!

The Book Fair and Restaurant Nights at Bronte Bistro were a success! Thank you to all those who supported HPS and Joseph-Beth Booksellers.
The Author Visit was Awesome!
The 3rd-6th graders really enjoyed hearing from Janet Tashjian! We learned a lot about story-telling from this popular author.

Another book order form went home in last Tuesday’s folder; if you would like a signed copy of one of her best-sellers, please have it returned by this Wednesday, October 25.
Keep Collecting Box Tops!
Don't forget to take a minute to cut out your box tops! Everything from Go-gurts, to Ziploc bags, to your box of Cheerios! Reference the whole list of Box Top products by clicking here. HPS will make their first submission to Box Tops on November 1, and we want to have a slew of them!

Save the Date for a Pumpkin Chuck!
On Saturday, November 4, HPS is hosting an event at the school, where you'll have a chance to launch your Halloween jack-o-lantern from a catapult! There will also be a food truck and fun games for the kids. All proceeds go towards supporting our new play yard ( www.HPSCPY.org). Check your Tuesday folders and the PTO Facebook page this week for all the fun details!
The Hawaii Party was a Great Success!
HPS parents enjoyed a luau-themed evening of food, drinks, and fun, while helping raise money for our school. Thanks to the families who hosted (pictured) and attended!
