Carmel will be full of joy TOMORROW as all ages gather for Midweek Serve - our monthly on-campus, outreach experience for the whole family!

Come, be a part of the action, as we learn about and help prepare gifts of encouragement for our ministry partners serving families and individuals with special needs.

We'll gather at 6:15pm in Worship Center.   Come early for fellowship and supper (4:45-6:00pm).

Also take note: 
  • Autism Training: If someone you love or serve is autistic, join us March 16 for a time of learning. Find details here.
  • Volunteer: To serve on Sundays, Wednesdays or at respite events with Carmel's Joy Ministry, email Audrey.

This past Sunday, Pastor Alex invited us to this churchwide event that will bring Carmel's vision to life! Sunday, March 15 from 4:30 - 6:00pm in the Worship Center. You don't want to miss it.

Seating is limited, registration $5/person, $20/family maximum

It is recommended for ALL those in the Carmel family 5th grade and up.

NEW Carmel VBS Seeks Volunteers  
Preschool and Carmel Kidz have teamed up for a NEW summer experience for our youngest!  Carmel's  Vacation Bible School is set for June 22-25 and will center around  Ephesians 3:20. 

Volunteers are needed to make it an out-of-this-world experience for our kids! Sign up to volunteer  here. General registration opens April 6.

Senior Adult Gathering- Deadline TOMORROW!
Our Senior Adult Gathering  will be on this Sunday, March 1, from 12:30-1:30pm in Uptown Auditorium. Come meet some of Carmel's new team members and learn about opportunities to connect with other senior adults at Carmel through various upcoming events and travel. $5 per person for a catered lunch.  Register here.

Praise...
Praise that our Carmel Christian School ministry hosted the Greater Charlotte Association of Christian Schools last week. 
Dr. Paul Maurer, President of Montreat College, spoke on how schools can better prepare parents and students for college. 
Praise for the Carmel Women who stepped in to help our ministry partner, Human Coalition (formerly Pregnancy Resource Center) stuff 2000 invitations to their Celebrate Life event.

Autism Training - Monday, March 16
Nancy Nestor with the Autism Society of NC will help us better understand and work with preschoolers, children, teens and adults with autism. If someone you love is autistic, come join us for this time of learning! Find details and registration here. 
Disaster Response Training - April 17 + 18
North Carolina Baptists On Mission Disaster Response training will be held at Carmel to better equip our church family and community to respond and reach those in need during a natural disaster.  More information is available here.
