9:00-9:50 Grade 3
10:00-10:50 Grades K and 1
11:00-11:50 Grades 5 and 6

On Wednesday April 4

Students will be coming home with “fun run packets” that afternoon. Parents, please review in case your student has questions or needs assistance. (Please note: this is the CCA Foundation’s only fundraiser each year…we try to raise big money for big projects to help subsidize our Charter School’s smaller budget.)
Thanks to CCSD, we have a beautiful new gym, and the proceeds will go toward furnishings for the gym and new administrative areas, as well as some classrooms. Proceeds will also be used for our ongoing technology needs.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR THE FUN RUN!
You can work from 9-12, 1-3, or both shifts! Lunch will be provided for all volunteers. It’s a FUN way to earn volunteer hours!

CCA Text Messaging Coming Soon!
|
|
Dear CCA Community,
As CCA’s Leadership Team reviews the comments and recommendations from the SAC survey, we are excited to implement some of your suggestions.
In the past, CCA’s text messaging platform was used only in emergency situations, such as communicating delayed starts and snow days. Due to overwhelming feedback, CCA will now utilize text messages to communicate upcoming events and other important information similar to the email blasts you’ve received.
We will still be sending email blasts and communicating through
The Eagle,
our weekly newsletter, but we will now also send text messages as an additional means of communication.
Thank you for this wonderful suggestion and we hope that this new system will be helpful.

TRAFFIC/SAFETY:
JHL has planned ahead to minimize the impact to normal school operations, including traffic. Morning drop off and afternoon pick up will not change. JHL has scheduled all deliveries and truck/equipment traffic outside of our drop off and pick up times.
JHL created a safety video for our website, highlighting the efforts JHL takes to separate students from the construction as well as their thorough background checks for their employees, and other important efforts being taken to ensure a safe construction site.
JHL, DCS, RTA architects, and CCA leadership meet and discuss new construction tasks that involve safety matters at weekly Owner, Architect, Constructor meetings to ensure the safest site possible.
TOURS:
We are working with JHL Constructors and DCS, CCA's Owner's Rep, to schedule monthly tours for anyone interested in walking the project to hear and see first hand the progress being made. These tours will be held immediately following our regularly scheduled monthly PTO meetings. The next tour date will be 04/20 immediately following the PTO meeting.
Remember to wear close-toed shoes to participate!
