There is still time to become an investor for the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Young Entrepreneurs Academy Investors Panel on March 20 from 6-8 p.m. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to young business minds and help them fulfill their dreams. The event is free and open to the public.
YEA!’s mission is to develop and deliver experience-based entrepreneurship programs to young people. This year’s program contains 18 high school students from around the borough who attend weekly classes to learn different facets of the business world while creating their own business plan.
Participating investors will select the local winner who will advance to the Young Entrepreneurs Academy Saunders Scholars National College Scholarship competition. Last year’s top winner finished third nationally while the 2016-17 winner was crowned national champ at the annual event.
