WELCOME >
Warmest of greetings on this cold Winter day...

It doesn't matter the season, there are always exciting things happening in Downtown Staten Island!

For example, some local arts organizations are turning the area into a true film-lover's delight. The St. George Theatre's Classic Movie Series brings some of the best in cinema back to the big screen, while Staten Island Arts' Cinema Connex is bringing cutting-edge, specially-curated free screenings to the neighborhood with their Downtown Dinner and a Movie series.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg ...
(( cold weather pun intended)) ;)

Take a look below to see what's going on!

Best regards,
Linda M. Baran

Hello, Neighbor Mixer
On January 12, our Neighborhood 360° program partner, Staten Island Arts, launched their Downtown Dinner & A Movie series with a screening of the Fred Rogers documentary "Won't You Be My Neighbor."

To celebrate, the Chamber and Staten Island Arts hosted a pre-screening "mixer" at Errigo's Restaurant that brought together neighborhood residents and business owners to eat some delicious pizza and get to know one another better.

Hello, neighbor!
Holiday Lights
Once again, our holiday lights were up on Bay Street throughout the season.

Some local businesses were so inspired, they added to the display with festive installations of their own!

And to kick off the season, on December 10 we partnered again with the Borough President's office at the annual tree lighting at Borough Hall. Lots of fun entertainment, giveaways, and photo opportunities for all who came!
