Throughout October, look for a series of messages from the Stewardship Committee that reflect on Jesus' teachings about money as well as personal statements from families and individuals about giving. These reflections and statements invite all of us to consider anew the meaning of Christ-centered stewardship. We will begin asking for your 2019 financial commitment after the Feast of All Saints' Day, November 1st.
Saint Paul's has been a part of our family since we moved back home in 1998 and has nourished Tricia, our children and me in our spiritual lives. Members of our family approach their spirituality differently but having the one constant of a space in which and a wider family with which to find and interact with God in our own ways has been crucial. People can change over time and children do grow up, but our Christian faith has been set in our hearts and we are thankful to Saint Paul's for being the base from which we tackle the wider world. We give back to the Church for these reasons.

Leader: Coleman Graham and company
Location: Blue Room, Children's Ministries Center
Our bigger children will immerse themselves in an Episcopal formation experience rooted in the stories of our faith as presented in Matthew's Gospel. In this first of a three-year cycle, our children encounter the story of our salvation from the fall to our redemption and how we fit into the story. Our theme in this curriculum year is "God loves us and stays with us-no matter what." Every session incorporates theology and history from our Episcopal-Anglican perspective. Questions??? Contact Coleman Graham or Fr. John.

GODLY PLAY -- 4s to 8, Kindergarten thru 2nd grade
Leaders: Kim Butler & Ivey Coleman
Location: Godly Play Room, Children's Ministry Center
We take children and their relationship with God seriously and seek to provide both space to foster encounters with God and the language necessary to make meaning of those experiences. Within the Godly Play classroom, the Biblical narrative is lovingly presented to children using beautiful materials with an invitation to step into each story with awe and wonder. Children are then allowed time to respond to and reflect on their experience of the story.

Join the Hospitality Team for All Saints' Evensong Reception
Our memorable receptions are made possible by a combination of delicious foods and motivated individuals wanting to extend hospitality to all those who walk through our church doors...and by Anita Tanner, who has served as Hospitality Committee Chair for over 20 years. Our sincerest thanks and prayers to Anita as she passes this responsibility to Bill Ford.
You can help by making or purchasing a finger food or beverage for the reception, and dropping it off in the Tyler Hall kitchen between services or after church on Sunday, November 11. Individuals for set up, clean up and serving have already been organized. If you prefer to make a monetary donation, please make your check out to Saint Paul's Church and annotate it for the "Evensong Reception". Please email Bill to let him know which requested item and quantity you are bringing. We will respond to you individually and will publish an update next week. Need full details?
