Puddin'head Press Live
A lively, hour-plus-long collection of poetry, poetry history tidbits, and live interviews with your host Dave Gecic. It begins with "Zooming with \the Buddha" a discussion with David "Buddha" Hargarten and special guests Lennart Lundh and Lesley Ann Fogle via a zoom feed to Facebook Live. Then a discussion with poet Wayne Allen Jones about "The Life of a Poet". I hope to end the event with Joe Roarty's CD "Cracktopia" so at the end just sit back and listen. Bloomsday in Chicago
Jeff Helgeson is moving forward with his virtual Bloomsday. It will be a prerecorded collection of videos, strung together in a single file.

We have many performers in this years event and it will be a mixture of new and old material.

It will be released on June 16!!!!

Award Finalist
Jared Smith's book "That's How It Is" published by Spartan Press, has been selected as a finalist for the 79th annual a Colorado Authors League Writing Award. The award presentation will be on June 7th as a Facebook Watch event.

Contest Rules Available
Poets and Patrons is now accepting poems for their annual contest. Deadline is September 1, 2020. There are 14 categories and cash prizes for the winners ($50 to $300). Cost to enter the contest is $12 for members and $15 for non-members but this allows you to submit a poem in every category.
