it can only flourish with the coming of others from beyond:
their unknown and undiscovered sisters and brothers. "

As you know, story is the heart of Storybooks For Healing. But not just my stories... your stories. Stories of your loved one. Stories of your grief journey. Stories of new insights.

The best thing to do with a story is tell it!

With today's internet connections, the wisdom you've learned on your grief journey can provide great comfort to others almost immediately! The questions you have can be posed to those who can share their experiences.

So, consider this your invitation to share. We're listening.
Reflection: Teachers
Teacher
Do you remember a teacher that made a difference in your life? This person could have been from elementary or college or sometime in between. What is their name? What grade were you in? What was said, or how did he or she believe in you? Did you know how valuable the counsel at the time or did you understand it later?

Why do I ask? Because there is often someone who says or touches us in a way we don't recognize immediately. Later, after more life experience or reflection, we really get it. Maybe you had a chance to let this teacher know, maybe not. But the impact is lasting and important to you.

Taking actionable steps to understand your grief is so important. This is the reason for creating the SFH community: participating in the conversation is action. When you tell your story you find purpose in helping others. As you help others you will see that you have made progress on this path. Something so simple as saying, "me, too" reaches out to say "you are not alone."

If you have questions, there is someone to answer. SFH has experts in life, grief and love who engage on all of our social media sites (that's you!).

Story keeps our loved ones alive. SFH is about how to preserve these stories. If you want to learn more about writing, photos, memory ideas, storybooking and even scanning, we'll cover this too.

Please ask. Please answer. What is important to you? Start talking....
